Walking through the National Gallery of Australia's Sculpture Garden, I came across an atmospheric installation where mist enveloped the trees and diffused the sunlight filtering through the canopy. The way the light interacted with the swirling fog gave the scene an ethereal, dreamlike feel.
To capture this effect, I positioned myself so that the sunlight would shine directly into the mist, enhancing the contrast between the dark foliage and the soft, glowing haze. I adjusted my exposure to maintain detail in both the brightest and darkest areas, ensuring the mist retained its delicate texture while keeping the surrounding greenery visible. The result is an image that feels almost surreal, like stepping into another world suspended between reality and a dream.
