Story Behind The Image

As the coastal shower drifted westward, the sky transformed once again, revealing a stunning contrast between light and shadow. Taken 15 minutes after "Looking Out Over The Sea," this photo has intensified colours, with the double rainbow glowing even more vibrantly against the shifting clouds.

The clearing sky allowed golden sunbeams to stretch high above, illuminating the ocean beyond the horizon while casting deep shadows over the waters closest to land.
