Story Behind The Image

Taken during a bushwalk at the edge of the ACT border, this image looks out across the farmlands of New South Wales toward the distant Tallaganda mountain range. Hovering above the peaks are a rare cloud formation called lenticular clouds, these formations often signal turbulent air but appear serene and otherworldly. Their presence in this photo makes this photo especially unique.
