Story Behind The Image

While exploring a quiet walking trail, I came across this secluded section where dense trees lined both sides of the path. The overhanging branches formed a natural tunnel, filtering the light and casting soft shadows. What caught my attention to taking the photo was the illusion of the path stretching endlessly as the white dashed line leading the eye forward as the trail curved slightly out of sight.

Shooting in black and white allowed me to highlight the contrast between the light breaking through the trees and the deep shadows in the trees and the textures of the foliage and the rough pavement.
