Story Behind The Image

I took this photo of a cockatoo standing in the middle of the road, to make the image pop out more I decided to darken the road. To achieve this, I selected the background in Photoshop and darkened it to pure black which allowed the cockatoo and the birds feathers and colours to become more striking.
